Cypress has a clean, herbaceous, slightly woody, evergreen aroma. It is often used with massage and aromatherapy work. It's used to relieve stress and is emotionally comforting, increases concentration, assists with varicose veins and circulation. Also good for detoxifying when used in a bath. It's a good diuretic and is helpful for asthma, hay fever, coughs and bronchitis. It's astringent properties work well for oily skin.
