Chamomile blue essential oil is steam distilled from the gorgeous white flowers of German chamomile, grown in the picturesque landscapes of the English countryside. A deep blue color of the oil is a result from a natural azulene that is released during distillation. The production of German chamomile essential oil is a labor-intensive process, making it a highly valuable and worthwhile product. It has a very low toxicity, therefore excellent for use on children.
