Peppermint has a cool, minty, fresh and sweet aroma. It has been used since ancient times, found in Egyptian tombs as far back as 1000 BC. Peppermint essential oil is commonly used by aromatherapists for a variety of purposes, including soothing nerves, relieving pain, open the breath, and easing tummy discomfort. Use in low dilutions, peppermint oil is wonderfully cooling, but too many drops become warming.
- Blends well with Basil, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, Marjoram, Pine, Rosemary, Spearmint, Thyme
